About Us

Saint Martha Manor, a Catholic Health Care Services facility located in Downingtown, Chester County, is a 120 bed skilled nursing home owned by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.  Here you can be assured of receiving the finest care, services and a commitment to excellence that is the hallmark of Catholic Health Care Services facilities.

Since its founding in 1989, Saint Martha Manor has served Downingtown and the surrounding communities with exceptional nursing care.  Our bright, one-story facility boasts state of the art nursing care and technology while offering a warm, friendly atmosphere where the dignity and well-being of each resident is our foremost concern.

All of our living spaces, including bright and cheerful resident rooms, gracious dining rooms, lounge and activity areas, are beautifully designed and furnished to maintain a home like environment where family and friends feel welcome and comfortable.  Our well-landscaped outdoor gardens provide a lovely spot to visit, enjoy the sun and even a recreation area for very young visitors.

Our beautiful Chapel serves as a place of worship for our residents where Mass is celebrated daily by our chaplain.  A dedicated Pastoral Care team tends to the spiritual needs of our residents, which is an integral part of our philosophy and mission.

Saint Martha Manor is adjacent to St. Joseph Catholic Church, conveniently located just a quarter mile south of the Route 30 bypass at the Manor Avenue/Route 322 exit.
